Elizabeth Humphreys

After spending thirteen years alongside my mother through early-onset Alzheimer’s, while raising three children and keeping the rest of life moving, I learned grief doesn’t wait for you to make room for it. That experience inspired my new memoir, Too Bad About That, a darkly funny and deeply human story about caregiving, motherhood, loss, and learning to stay present for the life that’s still happening. I’m excited to share it with you.

Welcome. With Elizabeth you’ll find honest conversations about resilience, caregiving, mental health, and the courage to remain present when life gets hard.

Speaking engagements

Some conversations change the room. Others change the way we see ourselves. I partner with organizations, conferences, healthcare systems, universities, podcasts, and communities to create both. Through storytelling, psychology, and practical insight, I speak on resilience, caregiving, mental health, brain health, and Alzheimer's prevention, helping audiences move beyond inspiration toward lasting awareness, connection, and meaningful change.
